Dr. Viveka Kumar is a highly experienced cardiac interventions and electrophysiology specialist who has performed more than 7500 angioplasties and 2500 balloon valvotomies with good outcomes. He is skilled in performing complex angioplasties including multivessel, bifurcation and left main angioplasties with Rota Ablation, FFR, IVUS, IABP, IMPELLA devices. He is also an expert in structural heart disease procedures such as TAVI, TMVR, and LAA occlusion. Dr. Kumar has performed the first subcutaneous AICD and maximum number of AICD implants in India, as well as the maximum number of leadless pacemaker implants in India. He also proctors national and international training courses for TAVI, Rota, IVUS, OCT, SICD, AICD’s, and Micra.
